10 ways to grab your guy!

Sick of waiting for him to make the first move? You know which guy you’re interested in, right? Well, here are 10 ways to grab your guy!

Dating used to be simple during our parent’s time. It was the norm for a guy to call a girl up for a date. He was expected to – and girls just had to wait demurely for an invitation. It was that simple – boys were supposed to make the first move.

Now it’s the millennium and the rules have changed a little. Women have been asking for equal rights, talking about female empowerment. So what’s a girl to do these days – still wait around for that phone call? Or just march right up to him and ask him out? We say there are many ways to get your guy. As long as you don’t become too pushy, there’s no reason why gals out there can’t take the initiative. Here are a few suggestions…

1. Find out what snacks he likes best. Then casually offer it to him one day.

2. To make sure he notices you, you can give him the eye – several times each day. See what his reaction is.

3. If the guy you’re interested in plays a sport, show up during one of his games or meets and beam him your brightest smile from the spectator stands.

4. If he’s into computer games, challenge him to something like Counter Strike. This will surely get you noticed and help you break the ice.

5. Pretend to look for a seat at the tuck shop or cafeteria… then grab a seat right next to him. You can take it from there and chat him up.

6. Impress him with your sports knowledge by memorizing the latest soccer scores or basketball games.

7. Gently touch his wrist as you check his watch for the time.

8. Go up to him and ask him if he’s been working out, coz he’s looking good. A sure ego-booster and he’s bound to chat you up.

9. Compliment him on his shirt and ask him from where he got it. Then talk about where he hangs out and you can talk about your shopping habits as well.

10. Go behind him and tuck in his shirt label. He’ll never know if it was sticking out or not, anyway – but it’s a good way of getting his attention.
